80 INSPIRATIONAL CARDS FOR TEXTILE ARTISTS TO MOVE THROUGH CREATIVE BLOCKS
The Idea for these cards was conceived out of a conversation between Charlane and Cathy at Fibrations, a fibre arts event in Victoria, BC in August of 2022. Christine was then enrolled into participating after the event. These cards were created by the 3 C’s, Cathy, Charlane and Christine who were only casually acquainted or unknown to each other at all. We combined each of our skill sets and unique perspectives, which resulted in these cards. It’s taken a year of meetings to hone this final product that we are very proud and thrilled to share with you.
HOW WE SUGGEST YOU USE THE CARDS
The intended use of the cards is for the artist to select a card at random and do what it says. Some cards will have a very clear direction or task, while others will be purely up to you as to how to interpret them. Each of you will approach it in your own way. If the card doesn’t inspire you, select another card if you wish.
